Terms of Service
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Agreement and eligibility
By requesting access to, installing, or using Live Video Feedback (“LVF” or “the App”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use LVF. The founding pilot is available only to adults aged 18 or older whose request has been approved.
Founding-pilot access
The founding pilot is free, invitation-only, requires no payment card, and runs for 42 days per participant. A request does not guarantee admission. Approved participants receive a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App for the pilot.
Pilot access may be extended, paused, or revoked for operational, safety, abuse, capacity, or research reasons. Revocation does not delete recordings already stored on your computer.
Existing paid licenses
If you acquired a paid perpetual LVF license before the founding pilot, that license remains valid under the purchase terms that applied when you acquired it. The move to a free founding pilot does not convert, cancel, shorten, or revoke legitimate existing paid-license rights.
Access keys
Access keys are personal credentials. Do not publish, resell, or share them. Activation requires a brief internet connection to Polar for verification and may include a device label. Contact support if a key is lost, exposed, or needs to be moved to another eligible device.
Participant responsibilities
Founding-pilot participants agree to make a good-faith effort to use the workflow during the pilot, provide short feedback about the product experience, keep access credentials private, and report technical problems honestly. You decide what to record and what to export or share with a practitioner.
Not medical advice
LVF is a recording and live-view tool. It does not diagnose, prescribe, assess or verify form, prevent injury, guarantee safety or outcomes, or replace a qualified practitioner’s judgment. Follow the instructions of your practitioner and stop an activity if you have concerns requiring professional attention.
Your data
Recordings, filenames, exercise names, and the local library are stored on your computer. LVF does not provide cloud backup for them. You are responsible for local storage, deletion, backup, and any files you choose to export or upload. See the Privacy Policy for online-service boundaries.
Phone camera connection
The phone camera is connected through its browser after you scan the QR code shown in the Mac app. WebRTC encrypts the media connection. LVF’s server handles short-lived signaling needed to establish that connection but does not store your video stream.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use LVF unlawfully or to record someone without required consent
- Publish, share, resell, or circumvent an access key or entitlement
- Interfere with the website, signaling, update, analytics, or access-verification services
- Reverse engineer or redistribute the App except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Submit health information or another person’s personal information through the pilot-request form
Availability, updates, and support
LVF depends on supported hardware, browser permissions, local storage, network conditions, signaling, access verification, and update services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Updates may change behavior during the pilot; release notes and support guidance will identify material changes.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
LVF is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular rehabilitation plan, or clinical result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LVF is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, warranties, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Existing paid-license holders retain the mandatory consumer rights that applied to their purchase.
Ending use
You may withdraw from the pilot or stop using LVF at any time. We may end pilot access or terminate access for a material breach of these terms. Existing paid licenses are not terminated merely because the founding pilot starts or ends.
Changes, governing law, and contact
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.
Questions or withdrawal requests may be sent to [email protected].
